IPED specializes in economic development and survey research

The Institute for Policy and Economic Development (IPED) is a primary research facility for economic development and policy issues on the U.S.-Mexico border, with a focus on West Texas, Southern New Mexico and Chihuahua, Mexico. The Institute provides objective analysis and interpretation of public and private policy research and collaborates with key regional partners to insure that economic development and information needed for long-range planning proceeds in a scientific, sustainable and timely fashion.
